"Their Name" Keeps Disappearing

When trying to enter a contact into my World Radio League Logbook, I’ll enter the callsign, and after a few seconds, the operator’s name pops up in the “Their Name” box.

I’ll continue entering the RST and frequency information, but when I bring up the POTA spotting page from another Chrome tab, I will copy the park number from the contact and then go and bring my World Radio League log page back up and paste the park number into the “Their QTH” box, but when I get back to my WRL Logbook, the operator’s name is gone from the “Their Name” box. So I usually have to go to the QRZ page and put the callsign in to get the operator’s name from their QRZ page to put back into the “Their callsign” box.

This doesn’t happen once in a while; it’s every time. Is it something that I am doing wrong, or is it the software?

Thanks

@W4WAG I think I know what could be happening here.

@N0WRL Could this be the problem we had with POTA spotted stations only filling in some data?

James (KN4NEH) should be by soon and can assist.

Hello! Sorry to hear this is happening! Can I get some more info so I can try to recreate it?

What template were you using (you can find this on the settings page).

Is it only when you change the their qth field? Try punching in the callsign and see if it fills in that info. That could be the reason.

While I wait for that, I’ll try to recreate it and see if I can identify the breakpoint! Thanks for the report!

I Use Chrome as my browser.

I am currently set to “Default WRL” Logbook Style, because I usually make CQ Calls or answer CQ calls along with POTA…

I’ll put the callsign info in and then RST and Freq. Then I clink on a separate Chrome Tab to bring up the POTA Spot Page and I copy the POTA Park Number and then click on the WRL Tab in Chrome and Paste the Park Number into “Their QTH” and usually the Name of the Operator that was there before I went to the POTA Spot Page, is now gone.

Thanks
