Nice station! I have an 897 as well, they are real workhorse radios. It’s a shame yaesu doesn’t make a 100w all band all mode radio like it anymore.

Yeah I guess the 991a has the same all band/all mode functionality, but it just draws so much more power due to the screen, which makes it not ideal for some portable operators.
