WRL CAT control with iDigi

iDigi is a MacBook digital mode application that has all the digital modes integrated. I have had success with it connecting to my radio with no issue and have had nothing but problems with my x6100 connecting with WSJT-X since it needs drivers and the like. iDigi seamlessly integrated without any problems. I don’t want to pay for other logging software when WRL is my favorite.

@AJ7IR I’m not really familiar with iDigi however doing a bit of googling and research it looks like iDigi does not support direct hamlib library integration. Meaning that it requires connecting via a local network address and port and not via UDP streaming. Our current cat control app doesn’t support local network connections only UDP streaming currently. We do have plans to open this up and add this functionality in the future. I know there are at least a couple of x6100 users that use the WRL cat control app with WSJTX and grid tracker. You might post another thread in App Help & How-To asking for their radio settings they used to get this working.

Here is the WRL + Gridtracker + WSJTX setup instructions (just ignore the N3FJP configuration part at the bottom). Gridtracker, WSJT-X, and N3FJP Integration Guide - World Radio League

However that is dependent on you have the radio settings set correctly for the WRL Cat control app to handle rig control.
