Ability to import multiple ADI files

Hi Folks

I’m in the process of moving to WRL from my current logging software and have a number of ADI files for my various log books, its a bit of a mess but it’s what i’ve got currently! It would be great to be able to import them into individual log books in a batch, rather than having to do it one by one!

Related to this, it would be nice to be able to use a geolookup service to put a location in whilst uploading them - to look up a street address to a grid square or similar!

Thanks for the great request and for being a founding member!! :raising_hands:

For setting the location, you can create a new Saved Location for the new logbook based on grid, map location, or address - maybe that option would help with the second part of your request?

That’s my plan, pre-seed the locations as saved locations, however its one per log book, so it will take a while. I think that for people doing bulk imports it might still be a nice feature to have a way to add a grid square (or address or similar) at time of import. I’m no design person, so I can’t even suggest a good way of doing it, however something similar to how pota.app (which has issues, but giving it as an example!) does when you’ve got multiple parks, or a park that is in multiple locations similar to below. I know that its a different way they’re handling the imports (as theres some processing or at least line counting on the client side), but might be a nice feature for those that are importing for whatever reason (Using a different app for a contest, importing from a shared logbook during a POTA/SOTA/whatever activation where only one person is logging), paper logs that they’ve entered into an ADIF file etcetc.

Cool - thanks for this idea and example!!
