Option to pull new locations from log when adding new location

As a new user I am looking to add some operating locations. I have already operated from several prior to becoming a user and will be returning to a few of them. Is it possible to pull location info from the log to populate a pulldown (or similar) when adding a new operating location?

@KK1L thanks for joining and THANKS for the support!

In order to add the operating locations, you’ll need to go to My Operating Locations and then add each one with either 1) a mailing address 2) a grid square or 3) putting the location on a map.

When you import logs, it will pull your location info from the log if it finds it.

I believe you are looking for a new feature where WRL can see your operating locations from previous logbooks?

We don’t have that today but maybe it is something we can work on.

Let me know if this helps and if you want to add some detail, we can try to work on this feature request too.

Yes I guess this is a feature request firstly.

Good to know it will match my log to to ones I have entered. So this leads to some questions.
What is used to match the location?..which ADIF field?
Does this need to match letter for letter the name in WRL?
I use DXLabs DXKeeper and can export a number of ADIF formats…Standard, for LotW, for QRZ, for ClubLog, for DXBase, etc.
6 character grid square from GRIDSQUARE?
APP_DXKEEPER_MY_QTHID?
APP_DXKEEPER_LOTW_STATION_LOCATION?
something else??

Thanks.
