Wrong City in Contact Details

I operate 100% remotely and have set up all of my locations. I note that when I use the integration app from WSTJ-X, my actual city shows up. I can’t figure out where that is coming from, as I think that I have the proper city/state of the transmitter in the system.
Here is an example:

@KQ4Y Hey Rick,

Inside of your logbook click the gear icon in the upper right hand corner. Then go down to ‘Location Settings’ and set a location for your logbook. That should do it.

OK, I’ll try that when I get home later. But I don’t want a single location for the logbook. Can’t it just be picked up from each of the locations I’ve set up?

@KQ4Y Hey Rick,

Yes you setup multiple ‘saved locations’ and then when you setup your logbook just go into the logbook settings and set the specific location you are operating from and that should do it. I hope this helps.

I tried that, and my city still shows up as in the shot above. Can you look at my account and see where “Fernandina Beach” could be picked up as my city?

I guess it’s not a big deal because it doesn’t seem to affect anything since I’m the only one who can see that, and everything else is OK. I just don’t see where it is coming from. Thanks, Rick

@KQ4Y Hey Rick,

This is an odd one, i was wondering if its even coming from WRL but i just went into your current logbook (KQ4Y) and then went to logbook settings and set your location to the gridsquare you had as a saved location but using ‘custom location’ instead. i set the grid square to FN31DS and then you made a new FT8 contact with N8OYY right after i updated it. This contact shows correctly on the map and in the details.

How are you making these contacts? Are you using the cat control app, wstjx/jtdx, and another logging program?

I’m using WSTJ-X with the CAT app to send the contact to WRL. The only thing that I can figure is that it is coming from WSTJ-X somehow, but I can’t find it anywhere.

PS When I put my call in the search field it shows my physical location. Could that be it?

@KQ4Y Maaayyybeeee but i would think your ‘saved location’ should be over writing it. Let me check with the team and see if they can dig into it a little bit for you.
