Is there any reason the ARRL America WAS250 is not listed as a contest or would it be considered a special event?

@N5ECY Its more of an award instead of a contest or a special event. We will have an award for this as well though.

@N5ECY We will be adding award for this, for users who have made 250 confirmed contacts throughout the year like the QRZ award.

Nice! This is most likely a stupid question, but is the deadline for the award July 4th, or at the end of the year?

Good early morning. I do have a little more to add to this. In case some are not aware that if you missed any of the official W1AW/ states then there is a second round. Each state has the opportunity to participate in the W1AW special event call sign twice. I am actually going to be one of the WNY operators Beginning in August. and I will be W1AW/2 for most of the entire second round for NY. 73 Tom KB2TDH
