Atlanta Hamfest - New Ham Forum Saturday

You are invited to join us Saturday (June 4, THIS Saturday) at the Atlanta Hamfest for our New Ham Forum. What’s a new ham forum? Well @N0WRL and @JimWRL (that’s me) will talk about operating Simplex, 6 things to try now that you have your license, and take your questions about basic ham radio.

Our forum kicks off at 9 AM, so don’t be late. Even if you are an “old” ham you might pick up some tips or be able to help with a question. Hope to see you there.

We’ll be in forum room “A” at 9 AM tomorrow to help new hams really get active with their license. Come by and see us there or in Exhibit Hall A and get some swag.

Thank you to everyone who came out yesterday. We had fun getting some hams their very first Amateur Radio contact and talking about things you can do with amateur radio.

Here’s a list of links we mentioned. If anyone would like a copy of the presentation, message me here or at jim@americanradioclub.com and I will be glad to send it along.
