Boot sequence?

As a guy with an old brain I am easily befuddled when booting rig cat control and it asks if I want to sign in. Sometimes I hame already signed in and I find that I have two browsers open with WRL. Am I supposed to bot rig control first ?

@K3UK Andrew,

Yes, I found that opening everything in this order is what works best for me (your results may vary).

  1. WRL Cat Control (sign in, connect the radio, then start the wsjtx listener)
  2. Gridtracker (wait for it to load)
  3. WSJTX or JTDX

Thats what works for me at least.

Thanks, I am doing CW only at the moment. I did try WSJTX yesterday and had no luck . Now I know your sequence I will try that too.

I am missing a step, I think . Normally when integrating WSJTX with other logging application I boot WSJTX first and allow WSJTX to have the primary CAT control . Then I boot the logging software and the data from WSJTX flows to the logging software . Do I do that ? I am a bit puzzled about how, if I do that, clicking on spots in WRL will be executed because I assume WSJTX is controlling the CAT port.

Got it now, My UDP port was different, fixed that now. Very nice integration. 73
