This isn’t very important for HF, but for VHF and above with so many propagation methods, it would be extremely nice to have. Of the 20 included propagation modes, HF uses like two or three of them and the rest are exclusive to VHF+, so the highbander crowd could really use them. It’s found at III.B.13. I know we’ve already got the satellite template, but I tend to reset my logbooks once or twice a month at most while I jump around all sorts of modes, and having to swap logbooks or templates to satellite and back is kind of clunky. It would also be nice to set it to Meteor Scatter or EME right there as well.
If the user sets it to SAT (or I guess RPT, if somebody out there is logging repeater contacts), maybe we could have it pop up with the extra satellite/repeater detail fields right there in the same log, and then have them disappear again when it gets set to something else?
