Can you stop going to top of list when the POTA spots refresh [FIXED]

Can you prevent the reset from going to the top of the list in Table View or Grid View when the POTA spots refresh? If not can you add a control that allows the user to determine the rate of refresh of the POTA spots?

A freeze panes or something that will let you set the sort order and pause even. I have the same issue when hunting.

I like this idea as I have the same issue when hunting. I’ll talk to the team and see if we can implement something like this. Maybe something like @AE5TX suggested, a pause button or similar. I’ll see what the team thinks and update this thread once we’ve had a discussion about it.

We’ve added a ‘pause’ button that is right at the top of the grid view on the spotting page that will allow you to pause the refresh as a temporary solution! I hope this helps for now until we come up with an alternative solution.

I think the pause function is sufficient. The POTA site allows for a “pause” although it actually just resets the refresh to 300 seconds.

@KF0EEK Hey Jack,

That’s actually good to know. I’m sure we can have the pause button be on a timer for 300 seconds and/or just have a separate button to “slow” the refresh down.
