We are currently looking for volunteers for the Dayton 2025 Hamvention in Dayton, OH May 16-18th!
We are looking for people that are willing to volunteer at the booth for at least 2 shifts (morning/afternoon). You’ll be talking to users about WRL and showing some demos, along with giving away free stickers/gifts!
It will be a combined booth with both Ham Radio Prep and World Radio League.
It will be a fun event and we’ll be sure to have some special benefits for our volunteers!

Hello everyone!! I’m starting to get the official volunteer details setup! Here are more details.
Your main responsibility is to help with the booth! Giving demos of WRL, talking to students, and giving away free gifts. Expect to be on film as we’ll be filming lots of interviews!
Each volunteer needs to sign up for at least 3 shifts (Friday - Sunday, Morning / Afternoon).
You need to know about Ham Radio Prep as well and be able to talk about it, since we’ll be sharing a booth!
There will be a paid stipend of $100 per shift to help with your expenses. So if you volunteer at the booth for Friday and Saturday, morning and afternoon both days, you’ll receive a $400 stipend!
You’ll also receive some gifts and benefits such as a WRL polo and mug, etc., and maybe some surprises
Ideally we’re looking for people that are already planning to attend Dayton, since we don’t plan to have any extra budget for housing / hotel so far.
