Somewhat of a silly dumb question. I’d like to play around with fake logging in WRL but am unsure if logging a call sign notifies the other party in WRL? How about POTA logging?

Nope, logging a contact does not notify the other person, unless the log a contact with you containing matching details, in which case we send a confirmation notification. Hope this helps!

Whenever I need to do some dummy logging or fake logging to test anything, I use the call HI8TEST for the other station, that way the fake qso won´t affect any other station.
