Hi - I joined recently, and have enjoyed looking around the site. I’ve got a 10W K2 at the moment, but not very active. I need to put up my wire again, which has been down for months. I’m also hoping to do some POTA and SOTA activities, but also need to get the CW up to speed!

hi to all am new here studying and trying to learn on my own from the island of malta
I’ve got the wire up now, but it’s only about 15ft above ground at the highest point, but almost half-wave on 80m. Also made a very short and simple CW contact this morning, my first for 3 years! Only managing 10wpm so far.
At least Snowdon has a train going up it, and a cafe at the top! It’s 2.5 hours drive from me, and then 3 hours to walk up. I think the train is an hour or so. But it looks like a nice place to go, especially out of holiday season.
