As a daily user of WRL and someone who really enjoys the features and customer service provided by the WRL team. There has to be a large cost to keep this program site up and running and keeping it updated etc etc. I am not sure if the WRL Team does this on their free time from another job but again can’t be cheap. Maybe WRL team should implement a few unique features/options only available for those that are VIP or another level? I know having everything free helps bring in users but just like QRZ, if you are not a paid member you don’t get all the good stuff. It could help bring in $$ to support the team… Just my .02 cents, 73 WV1DAD

its actually already structured like that. The QRZ/LOTW export is a paid feature (we allow importing of contacts from QRZ/LOTW though), the custom logbook templates and logbook template creator is a paid feature as well. We initially were going to have the map customization features a paid feature too but we wanted to encourage all WRL users to share their maps and graphics on social media to help get the word out about us and didn’t want to put that behind a pay wall. Some of the new analytics dashboards and more complex analytics breakdowns will most likely be a paid feature too. We also have several additional new special features that are coming once we’ve pushed the database upgrade changes live, that are only really possible due to the database upgrade

I agree with both @WV1DAD and @K4AZE here.
WRL is definitely a labor of love 
It’s amazing what we have been able to accomplish with a REALLY tight budget.
Now that most of the basic free features are completed, you will see a LOT more value getting added to the other levels. And thank you @WV1DAD for the VIP support. We seriously could NOT do this without folks like you taking a shot on us.

@N0WRL @K4AZE Too easy guys too easy! glad can support, I guess as a paid VIP subscriber I didn’t realize that some stuff I had access to etc wasn’t for everyone. Still would like to see a click link on the site on every page that takes you directly to your default login. Not to all logbooks but your default, to have a quick access to logbook would be great Thanks for all you guys do! Keep it up! Ever thought about having live YouTube episode where users could ask questions etc?

@WV1DAD Either way your support is GREATLY appreciated. We do have a quick link for your default logbook planned, first we need to implement that feature we have planned to allow users to set a default logbook and favorite/re-organize their logbooks…which is coming soon. Then we’ll be able to have a link or button like you mentioned to take you directly to your ‘default’ logbook.
