What is the “Importing Contacts” number refering to? TOTAL UPLOADS LIFETIME? Or limit per upload event?

thanks! doug VE5RR

@VE5RR Are you referring to the membership import limits? If so its imports into your account via an ADIF upload. That doesn’t apply to the QRZ or LOTW imports.

Yes…membership import limits. Is the number indicated, refer to lifetime logged entries? Or the number that one can upload at one time.

Thanks

@VE5RR its not for logged contacts in WRL its only for imported contacts via an ADIF.

Yes.. Im aware of that. But there is a limit on how many contacts are in the adif file.

I tried uploading 14000, but it rejected it. And when I looked up the different subscription types, they had varying nimbers of permitted uploads.

@VE5RR Yes, its whats listed on the membership page ( World Radio League ) a free account is either 3 or 5k imported via an ADIF (again you can use the QRZ import integration and still import from there without those limits), a basic membership is 10k max imported via an ADIF, 300,000k for a Premium membership & unlimited for a VIP account.

I would create a new WRL logbook and if you have your QSO’s in your QRZ account, use the QRZ integration functionality to import your QSO’s that way, it will bring in your current confirmations as well. Also, since you have a QRZ subscription I would enable QRZ call sign lookup as well.

I hope this makes sense.
