I would like to have the tabs (Log, Map, Spotting, Stats) and filters area stay static at the top (with option to collapse the filters area on the spotting tab) while scrolling thru the spots like the iOS app does. As for a collapsible filters are I imagine most of us only make adjustments to these selections once or twice a day so keeping it open and using screen real-estate seems wasteful when we really want to see the spots.
I’m not really sure what your asking here other than to collapse the filters at the top. Once you set the filters (band, mode, clusters, etc) it stays and doesn’t reset once you go out of the logbook or goto another tab. Like i mentioned on the other thread you referenced, we have a lot of spotting changes and enhancements coming in the next week or so
Hey Brad thanks for the update & insight into the the upcoming enhancements.
What I was/am trying to describe is that it would be nice for those tabs (or whatever they are called) that we click on to switch from Log to Map to Spotting, & to Stats would remain in place and visible as we scroll down the spotting or log list. Currently they rollup and out of sight when scrolling down the spotting or log list.
So what I am trying to do is be able to work down the spotting list and still see the tabs at the top no matter how far down I scroll, so that as I am working down the list I can quickly (without scrolling back to the top) click the Log or Map or Stats tab to check on something (to see I got the RST or something correct - see their location on the map etc.) & then again quickly return to the spotting tab & be at the same point on the spotting list I just left far down the list with my currently selected & radio tuned too frequency indicated (Highlighted or outlined) so I might continue clicking to CAT control my way to the bottom before I return to the top for another pass.
Does that make sense? I am not sure if I am explaining it well. But it makes sense in my head (which isn’t necessarily valid for anyone else reading or hearing my thoughts).
I realize some, many or even all of our suggestions may not be possible or sensible for the community as a whole & I accept that.
And let me give you a sincere thank you for all the time & efforts you and the team put in to WRL from the software/app’s & here in the forums with babbling, demanding know-it-all’s like myself. You are truly appreciated and I am sure that that appreciation is not expressed to you enough.
@N2FSM hahaha no worries at all, happy to help!! Actually yeah I’m following now. I would think that would be possible but let me talk to the team and see what we can do. I’ll add this as a feature request!
