I recently received a temporary call sign from Japan (JK1UNP) I found that due to restrictions in their band plan the domestic (Japanese) digital frequencies are different that those standardly used in the Americas, Europe, and other parts of Asia. The Japanese are allowed to use the standard frequencies to operate internationally ONLY. Does anyone have any idea what the standard domestic frequencies are for Japan? I was only able to find and use 40 meters while I was in country.
Also If you are planning a trip there, you can obtain your Japanese license through the Japanese Radio Relay League. JRRL.org Great people there.
