Link more than one logbook to QRZ

It is odd.
Thank you very much!

@K8LEB can you shoot me over the contact id for a couple of contacts that should have exported to QRZ (from a different logbook) that didn’t?

To get the contact ID just click the ‘eye’ icon inside your log on a contact and then look in the URL for ?contactId= and then copy from the = to the end.

Sure thing!

Contact ID for AF4K: 72bb4ee6-ebbe-44da-90fe-46922cbba181

Contact ID for KT3S: 4d4daeb3-8531-48c0-a493-7988ae635b59

Contact ID for WD8AYE: 8010f394-a449-4efe-8768-99e47cfe71bb

Hopefully that is okay : )

@K8LEB okay so we figured it out. Its because those contacts are imported via an ADIF. We don’t export contacts to QRZ that are imported via an ADIF, currently. We only export to QRZ for contacts that are logged in WRL.

Okay, that makes since! Thank you all for the help. I’ll just manually export them myself.

EDIT: Is there anyway I can update the integration to not link to just one logbook? I understand why everything else won’t work, but the other thing still seems weird.

@K8LEB on the import? no. we have to have a specific logbook to import from QRZ into.

I am talking about when I want all of my QSOs from each logbook in World Radio League to be exported to QRZ. When I select the logbook that want to be exported the one I want exported is not a certain one, just the “choose logbook” one. That way they will all export to QRZ. When I make it the, “choose logbook” it switches right back to my base phone HF log.

That may make no since, but I’m trying to make it make since :joy:

@K8LEB HAHAHAH i’m trying to follow. so your saying even when you switch the logbook in the drop down its still reverting to the ‘HF Log” logbook?

Try going in there, changing it and doing a hard refresh (holding shift and clicking the refresh button in your browser) then try changing it again and saving.

Additionally you can use the QSO manager to filter by logbook and select the QSO’s you want to export and then click the ‘export to qrz.com’ button.

I just tried everything you said, still didn’t work. Still resets back to my HF log.

I guess, I’ll just have to manually export them when needed.

Thank you!

@K8LEB i just went in and tried it in your account. i was able to get it to switch to t a different logbook but not to the ‘“choose a logbook”. Let me dig around in the database and see if i can manually change it that way to the '“Choose a logbook” for you.

You’ll need to re-enter your api key cause i just accidentally disabled it :face_with_spiral_eyes:

Okay, good deal! I’ll go re-enter the API key real quick.

@K8LEB sheesssshhh. hah ok. So I worked some SQL magic and NOW in the export settings it shows “Choose a logbook”, however it also shows “Choose a logbook” for the import settings now too BUT it does show that its going to import into the “Base Phone HF” logbook. So i think we’re good to go now.

I think that since i dont have import from QRZ enabled on my account but i do have export enabled that i didn’t have this issue.

Let me know if you still run into trouble i’ll see what i can do and get the team involved.

@K4AZE Thank you working so hard to get this fixed. Sadly, the export to QRZ is still set as the HF log.

I’ll try to turn the import off and see if that helps.
