Add QRZ.com sync option when importing ADI log files

When importing an ADI log file, it would be helpful to have a checkbox option to simultaneously export/sync those contacts to QRZ.com.

Alternatively, allowing multiple logbooks to sync with QRZ.com would accomplish the same goal.

@K8JKU Hey James

If you have the ‘auto export’ toggle turned on in the QRZ export integration settings then whenever you import QSO’s via an ADIF or log a contact it will export those QSO’s to your QRZ account automatically.

I appreciate the feedback. Perhaps its not working as intended for me. To ask a question, how long when a record is added to WRL will it take to flow to QRZ? Perhaps I am not giving it enough time.

My experience has been almost immediately.

@K8JKU it should be almost immediate, it could take a couple mins though. However I just tested it and imported a QSO with my old callsign to test and it showed up in my QRZ account right away.

I just did the same. It wasn’t immediate, but it was within 60-90 seconds.

To provide more context, I have multiple logbooks saved. I have one for my home logging and another for POTA. The home logbook is synced with QRZ. If I add any QSO’s there it automatically syncs to QRZ.

However, when I import an ADI file to my POTA logbook the QSO’s do not sync. This is where it would be nice to have either an option to “export to QRZ” when importing an ADI or have the ability to sync multiple logbooks.

@K8JKU You can use the QSO manager and select one or multiple QSO’s and click the ‘Export to QRZ.COM’ button.

Hope this helps.

Yes, this is how I have been managing it now. However, its not always efficient and adds multiple steps. For example, from a POTA rove I had 25 logbooks with 300+ contacts which I sync to my POTA Logbook. I needed to upload each ADI file individually (since you cannot select multiple at the same time). Then in the QSO manager, the Filter and Date tool will work, however, when I try to use either the “select all” and then export to QRZ.COM it typically doesnt recognize that items are selected and prompts me to select QSO’s to export. As a result, I have to use the checkboxes and flip the pages for it to recognize that QSO’s are selected to Export.
