I’m Dave N4NG in Central FL. I joined WRL last year but life took me away. I’m back. I see I never Introduced myself.
I have spent most of my ham time in SSB, but 2 years ago I discovered FT8. I am located in a noisy environment so Digital is great. Dogs, Birds, Kids, Wife do not matter in that case. Life is good 
I am an extra Class VE and spend a lot of time Testing, in-person and remotely.
I am enjoying my time here, and learning a lot from all the posts.

Hi Dave, I’ve only been active again since last September and I’ve been strictly SSB up to this point, but a couple of weeks ago my normal S2-S3 noise level jumped to a S6-S7 level. I suspect that the neighbor across the street with the new solar panels finally turned them on.
So far I have resorted to using an SDR out of northern Utah to hear the weaker stations, but even that can be a PITA so I’m giving more thought of moving to the dark side and going digital.
