Is there a link to a general help file that I can read ? I am interested in how “spotting” is supposed to work with rig control . My radio is connected using the beta , if I click on “copy to log” in spots is the intention that the rig move to the spotted frequency ? Or maybe the expectation is that we tune to that frequency manually ? In my case with a FT-710 nothing happens with the rig when I copy to log . WRL logbook does read the frequency if I move my VFO but not if I use a spot. I understand it is beta , I am just wondering what the expectation is when all is working .

@K3UK Hey Andrew,
Are you using the cat control app with the web app (ie https://app.worldradioleague.com) ? If so you should just be able to go into your WRL logbook and click the spotting tab and double click any of the spots and it should tune your radio to that frequency as well as load the callsign information into the logging fields.
I hope this helps. let me know if for some reason this isn’t happening.
Thanks & 73

Thanks Brad. Yes I am using the WRL cat control app . When I boot the rig control software it does successfully connect to the rig and the logbook in WRL shows the correct frequency. Just nothing if I click on a spot, the spot info goes in to the log book but the displayed frequency on the rig does not change. Now that I know how it is supposed to work, I will play around a bit further . The computer I am using has CAT control via other software , just WRL that is the issue today.
