when someone sends me a message it says I was still a technician, I also had mt callsign changed it was kf8bdt now its K8KCI

Sorry for your trouble, not going to worry about it. How dose WRL verify that each person callsign is good, correct, updated. I see how QRZ dose it. Just wondering if you guys do even check.

No trouble at all, just curious about where you were talking about. As far as the callsign check, we aren’t checking against any database or anything for the users callsign at the moment.

I’m following now face palm sorry took me a minute to understand what you were referring to. Your going to the logbook, typing in your old callsign and then clicking on the callsign under the logging area. I’m assuming that since you now have a vanity callsign with your upgrade to general, your old callsign is no longer active (is canceled in the FCC database) and lists the previous operator class that callsign held, but im not 100%. I’ve reached out to the team to confirm exactly where that data is being pulled from though.
