Using club call sign from my app

Newbie here. Next week I hope to play at field day. The operating from our club sign. I’ll be using my app to log my contacts. Can I change the call sign from my sign (N0LAF) to the club call sign?
I did open a new log for n o l a f field day and see it on my app. Just not sure how it works.

@N0LAF Hey Roger,

Of course!! Open up your logbook and then in the upper left hand corner where it shows you callsign right above the logging fields you can click that and then update the call sign and update the callsign type to ‘club’ (see screenshot) thats all there is to it! Let me know if you have any issues.

Hey @N0LAF Roger,

Sorry for the delay in getting back with you! It works similarly, on the mobile apps (while in the logbook) you click the gear icon in the top right and change the ‘Default Logbook Callsign’. However there isn’t a drop down to change the callsign type. I would suggest if you plan on using the mobile app then i would make the change on the web app (https://app.worldradioleague.com/) like i mentioned in my previous reply prior to using the mobile app as everything will sync from the web app to the mobile app. I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions or need a hand with anything else!

Thank you so much Brad for your response. I’m sorry I didn’t mention in the first email about using the app. I have very limited hotspot, or Internet so I tend to use the app. I will preset it before I go out using the browser. Again I thank you and you guys are awesome.

@N0LAF Hey Roger no worries at all!!! Happy to help! Let me know if you run into any issues, we’ll make sure we get anything sorted out! I will say that if you have very limited internet or spotty internet and your using the mobile app i would kill your internet connection all together. We’ve identified an issue that we’re working on fixing that happens when the mobile app can’t determine if there is an internet connection when a spotty or very weak internet connection is present which can cause offline sync issues. So its better to just turn the internet/mobile data off all together and log then once your back to a solid internet connection turn it back on and re-open the app and all your contacts will sync. Like i said we’re working on fixing that by moving the mobile apps to be completely offline first then handle the syncing. However with all that said we almost always can restore any logs that may not sync for some reason. Just wanted to give you a heads up since you mentioned having very limited internet. We’ll get ya taken care of either way though. Let me know if you need anything!

Thanks & 73
