So like many I have a mobile set up in my vehicle, I’m retired and camp, fish etc. I keep a logbook of my VHF/UHF. Contacts within my state ( Michigan). I just go to my logbook look at the map, finger the pin drop and there’s the call sign.
If I need information in an area, road assist, whatever I have a source to call out to. Nice option to have.
