The W2RRC Amateur Radio Group is excited to announce our upcoming 5th Meet & Greet & Parks on the Air (POTA) event, being held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Jacksonport State Park in Jacksonport, Arkansas.
Location: Main Pavilion, Jacksonport State Park (plenty of parking, ADA restrooms and facilities)
Time: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM (we’ll be there early and likely stay until the radios go silent)
Cost: Free and open to the public
This event is part of the International “Support Your Parks” on the Air weekend. We’ll be operating multiple stations, making contacts across the country and worldwide, and welcoming the public to come learn about amateur radio.
Whether you’re a seasoned operator, newly licensed, or just curious about the hobby, you’re invited to stop by, meet local hams, and enjoy a day of radio and fellowship at one of Arkansas’s great state parks.
