Yesterday, I started experiencing instability in the app (Android). I couldn’t save new contacts during a SOTA activity.
When I returned home, I uploaded the log through the website, but I realized that the contact map was inconsistent (there was a contact between Kenya and Zanzibar that wasn’t mine).
An hour later, I lost access to my account.
Does anyone know what’s going on and what I can do?
Have you updated to the latest version of the mobile app? After releasing the database upgrade changes we have an updated version of the mobile apps (iOS/Android) and the cat control apps. Those need to be updated. As far actually logging contacts, the only real issue we’ve seen is users trying to log the frequency as (for example) 14.222.50 instead of 14.22250 (with only 1 decimal which it should be). If entering the frequency with two decimals it will not log the contact. We will be pushing a fix for this.
When you say you lost access to your account what exactly do you mean?
I regained access to my account both from the web and from the Android app, with the credentials unchanged.
However, I still occasionally experience some instability on Android, with the app asking me to enter my credentials. This happened today, when I didn’t have access to the data network, so I had to use another app to register my contacts.
I’d also like to point out the issue with the log projection on the map, which sometimes makes no sense.
@CT1EFV Yes, we are aware of the issue and will be pushing a fix for the mapping issue and issue on the android app. Bare with us while we get these changes fixed and pushed out.
