I’m having the same issue, shows up as ZERO contacts. I then exported my WFD log to my computer, and then merged my WFD log into my regular log on the website, and that appeared to have worked. I then went back to my WFD log, and tried to import the export, and no luck. I hope they can figure this out.
Hey guys - we are working on this and will let you know! @N0APX !
I just exported my log to the WFD website and it seemed to work - can you guys please watch this quick video and see if it is the same process you followed?
Maybe I’m not sure where to check for errors?
Thanks for the screenshot Daniel! I’m chatting with @W0MET president of Winter Field Day too
Don’t worry, we will get this fixed. And, you have until March 1st to submit logs so we have some time here!
I watched your video and that’s the same procedure I used. It says it was successful. I also wanted it to merge with my regular log because I wanted one master log that would be everything I’ve ever recorded. I was able to merge my contest log into my master log successfully. However once I tried to re-import the ADIF back onto the contest log itself it shows zero contacts. I know this isn’t the same issue that the OP is having but it’s the same type of result of zero contacts.
@n0wrl I was able to export my log from WRL and submitted it to WFD with no issue. @n7PVW what type of error are you getting. Can you share that. Also feel free to email us over wfda@winterfieldday.com. I am wondering when you merged something happened. Did you use more than one logging program for WFD. or just WRL.
its the slash in the call sign because we validate against QRZ. that is what is causing the issue. can you just submit as the last half of the call sign and leave the prefix out.
Thank you for jumping in @W0MET! And thanks for the great event!
No, I think I figured out what happened. I recall seeing something that contest logs could not be imported here to WRL, that they needed to be logged here to count here. When I exported it so I could have it for sending in, and then merged it, it will not let me re-import it because it’s a contest log that I’m trying to import it to aka … .didn’t log it “here” even though it’s a WRL file which was logged here. Maybe that’s intended or maybe not?
If you’re trying to Import a file to get on the leaderboard in World Radio League, I believe that is not supported today. We will add that in the future!
I recommend submitting the ADIF to the Winter Field Day website here: Submit your Results - WFDA
Thanks, I appreciate the link! I was more concerned that I merged my contest log into my main log, and it would invalidate my participation certificate here on WRL.
If I can get an update on this issue I’d appreciate it. I posted another bug report on it, but can’t find that post now.
@N7PVW the participation certificates are only issued to Basic members and above
Ah ok, thanks for the clarification. Maybe next time.
However, regardless of the pay to play design, the same situation would exist had I paid already, not being able to re-upload my WRL log to the original contest logbook. Just making sure that’s not overlooked because I am a free member. I was a free member at QRZ until I saw how cool it was , then I became a paid member. The same will be for here, once I actually see some of the features I need implemented, then I’ll be a paid member here as well. No salt, just clarification. Thanks.
Thanks for clarifying @N7PVW - we’re working our absolute hardest on building the new features! You are welcome to stay free forever but we hope to earn your support one day in the future
Oh it’ll be sooner rather than later, just a matter of time. Once QRZ and LOTW are integrated I’m in! Thanks!
