How about implementing WRL with a way to receive visual alerts, via a light-pole such as the multifunctional Kuando Busylight Omega UC, for countries, call-signs etc of active operators worldwide ? ( kuando Busylight Omega by Plenom - Office Intelligence )
I’ve seen such features in other well-known software suite for hams, and it caught my attention as a very useful way to be alerted while your attention is shared with other tasks.
Such Kuando Busylight UC Omega could also be set to alarm you by voice, email, and be used with a lot of other stuff hams deal with.
@PY7KB This is SUCH a cool idea! We will be expanding our API soon, and possibly include some spotting actions, so this could be done with a custom connector!
@N0APX@K4AZE Thank you! Allow me to add: there are two good brands of light-poles: Kuando (model Omega UC) and other by Embrava. Though the Kuando one is quite superior in functionalities, and its connection is thru a provided USB cable.
I would love to receive a visual and/or voice alerta from WRL, while I’d be at the Desktop computer working on a spreadsheet, etc.
