Choosing a better coax than RG-58 will help with loss at that frequency, especially if it requires a run of 25’ or more. To achieve 18+ dbi you will need many more elements and be roughly 5-6’ long.
Do you mean 2.4GHz Yagi? If I think of a 2.4Mhz Yagi I imagine a really big antenna. Good luck with your build!
