Just came back from my first activation with WRL. Was struggling quite a bit with the logging. An offline more aka a desktop app is going to be more than welcoming addition.
With 100+MB 5G connectivity WRL was sluggish a few times.
@VA4ADM We are changing the RST font color to white to match the rest, its on the list.
As far as what’s in your video:
Something must have changed on the WWFF side where spots are concerned this was previously working. I’ll have the team push a fix
This should be auto setting the mode to CW, however the freq/mode in the logging fields isn’t related to the spotting tab. They are separate functions and we’re just pulling what is listed on the the POTA/IOTA/WWFF/SOTA/Clusters sites and pulling it in. So if a user sets the wrong band/mode/freq it will get pulled in
Thank you @K4AZE !
(2) I checked with two other clusters and the mode was CW. Specifically for 12m band what ever frequency I put the WRL sets mode as “SSB”. With the exception of 24.915 which is FT8.
is this any helpful for your team or I just making too much noise?
P.S. I realized earlier today that I should use this community for features request and report bugs via “Report a Bug” link. Sorry for the inconvenience I may caused.
Thanks so much @VA4ADM - if you can use Report a Bug it is better, it kicks off our triage process and makes it easier for us to manage. But the main thing is you are helping us, thank you so much!!
@VA4ADM nah no worries at all. I’ve got these added as a ticket in our system. I’ll reach back out after we’ve dug into it and pushed some fixes.
@VA4ADM we’ve pushed these changes btw. You may need to do a hard refresh when your inside the logbook (hold shift on your keyboard and click the refresh button in your browser). This will clear the cache for the site and pull the latest changes.
