Here’s this weeks release notes! We’ve now hard launched the spotting feature thanks to your feedback during the soft launch last week, and we’ve knocked out a ton of reported bugs!
New Features
- Spotting: With a combination of logging data from WRL and the POTA API, you can now go to the spotting page and get a real-time look at who’s on the air and on what bands. This is a great place to go to decide what band to hop on when you go to operate.
Enhancements
- You can now press the enter key to log a contact.
- Decreased the map icon size by 50% to accommodate more contacts on the map view.
- You can now sort you logbook by ascending or descending date.
- Various spotting enhancements from soft launch feedback
*Various graphical enhancements
Bug Fixes
-
Fixed a bug where visualization was pulling location from outside of a contact, providing incorrect locations for both operators.
-
Fixed how we treated the band column in logs, making it so “20” and “20m” are the same
-
Added missing ADIF fields to export.
-
Gridsquare will now persist between contacts, as opposed to refreshing to your home qth each time. This will get further enhanced with a future feature.
-
Date and time are more in sync with UTC. When it is a new UTC day, the logbook now follows that as opposed to your system date, making it in sync with the UTC time.
Known Issues
- Manually logged digital contacts won’t always autofill mode. This has a soft fix out now, and will get officially knocked off the bug list by next release.
