Will the desktop App or the integration app be able to support CAT Control via IP ? Would be handy to allow the Apps to use the local IP network for CAT Control for Radios that support it like the Elecraft K4, Icom 7760, Icom 9700, Icom 7300MKII, Icom 705 etc. etc.

Ah, I just submitted a request, but this is exactly what I’m looking for.
FT-Control for a bunch of Yaesu radios creates a local Radio Server, and this is exactly what we’d need to link it with CAT Control. (Sorry for the duplicate feature request.)
But I do see this FlexRadio SDR-1000 model that seems do what we’re looking for.
It just points to localhost:port#. I’m not sure we we can have the option of selecting the IP address manually rather than just defaulting to localhost, but the local machine’s IP address may actually work just fine in most use cases.
So if a model just like the above can be made with hamlib / RigCtrl, then I suspect it should work.
I’d be happy to help test it out!
