I want to learn CW.
Are there online classes or software that are recommended?

Long Island CW Club puts on daily CW Classes. They use zoom and you communicate with the instructor and other students live. They have several levels. They will also set up a time for you to use your radio and zoom and they will communicate with you thru the radios and help you.

Welcome to the world of CW. I second the LICW suggestion. Although I am Self-taught it was a little different for me because I started learning music 60 years ago and played a lot by sound. My second suggestion to you is listen to the words and listen to the sounds of the entire word. That was easiest for me because to me the words sound more like music and individual letters are just dit’s and da’s However this way makes it a bit more challenging to go slowly. I am a member of the SKCC, and the straight key is much slower pace than for instance an Iambic B key unless you use a bug key then it’s about the same. My Third suggestion is to mess around with one of the games like Morse Mania or similar. They can be a fun way to practice. Lastly look into a club that does a slow speed net. For instance the local club I belong to has a net every Tuesday that is focused on learning CW, and they will go as slow as you need. Just don’t get frustrated with it have fun and do it the way is best for you .

They have some cool devices on line that you can hear, see and do. I am getting one but seems like an easy way to learn. Good luck on your adventure.
