This might already be somewhere but I cannot find a setting where I can change the date format, is it possible to add the ability to changes the format so it it can be set for the local format, I think there are several standards.
@M0WND Hey Tony,
There currently isn’t a setting to do this. We try to keep everything as uniform as possible across the entire platform to prevent any data integrity issues, which is why we use UTC time as the standard instead of allowing users to use their local times.
I’m happy to talk to the team about it though.
Thanks & 73

Hi Brad
Thank you for your reply.
I am not asking in reference to time, I totally agree that it should be UTC, I was looking at date formats, for example in USA you would use 05/12/26 for May 12th however in UK and Europe it would be 12/05/26 12th May, it was only this date format that I was asking if there could be a choice between one or the other.
Kind regards
Tony
@M0WND Right i understand, what i’m saying though is this might be something we have to add a UI/UX element around instead of a database change because we need to keep dates and times, etc consistent across the board. So we might be able to add a toggle in logbook settings that would allow the dates to be just displayed a different way.
Hi
No problem at all, it’s only a view setting so however would be great! ![]()
Thank you
@M0WND of course. I’ll add this as a feature request and try to get it added to our list.
