Digital Mode view for Logbook (hide manual QSO entry)

Greetings!

I mostly use digital modes, and so when I’m watching the imports into WRL the majority of the screen real estate is the manual entry block on the left. So I end up using QRZ to view my contacts and columns (and without the dynamic updates WRL provides).

I know there are feature requests for configurable columns, this is sort of an enhancement to those discussions, making it so the left side can be collapsed/hidden so I have more QSO width and therefore more column space.

@K9DLL Hey Paul,

We might be able to make something like that happen, although this sounds like a good use of the ‘QSO Manager’ and the coming sorting features of it. Currently you can add/remove columns you would like to see. ‘Logbooks’ → ‘QSO Manager’

OMG I didn’t even consider that, because I am using WRL logbook as my main then auto-export. That looks like exactly what I was looking for and it’s right there in front of me! Now I need to finish this shopping trip so I can try it out! Thank you!!!

@K9DLL hahahahah :wink: happy to help!!! We’ll be adding more features and functionality to the QSO Manager over the coming months such as sorting and giving users the ability move and rearrange the columns as need and several more features that are slipping my mind at the moment. Let us know if you have any suggestions!
