Really want to see timestamps on the logbook entries without having to go to the QSO view.
@WB0ICT Hey Tess, are you meaning inside of your logbook in the āLogsā tab (see below)? Weāre limited on space there but we might be able to remove the āTagsā section and add in the timestamp of the QSO there (if this is the area you are referring to). Iāll reach out to the team and get their thoughts as well.
Thanks & 73

Hi Brad @K4AZE
I love the tags column. Please donāt remove. But I donāt need the state column. ![]()
The preferences, which column should be shown in this limited space, are very individual. Please consider the possibility that each user can configure which columns are visible. #FeatureRequest

Agree. I like the Tags column. @K4AZE would a hover kind of thing be doable? Maybe when you hover over the user you can see the timestamp? User configurable columns would be great.
@WB0ICT Hey Tess,
Yea we are planning on user configurable fields in the future, but maybe like you said in the interim we could do a hover over affect and provide the data that way, at least for now. Iāll talk to the team about it.

Iād love to have time in there also. Maybe drop āDistanceā for it, and make āTimeā Column 1? Thatās where I look for it every time before I remember itās not there.
The only other thing that kills me is the frequency field not clearing, and then you put in a new callsign, and it doesnāt automatically grab that oneās frequency because the old one wasnāt cleared. Thinking that automatically clearing the frequency on Log Contact should be the default, rather than what Iām guessing is contest mode ākeep the frequency in the boxā ?
Iām with Doug on this one, I keep getting fooled into forgetting to change the frequency, fortunately I realize it quickly. The idea of having a contest button or fixed frequency button to save a frequency is a good idea.

Iām with you, too. A little fixed frequency button close to the frequency field would be a good solution.

@KC1UUH @F4MPL @HB9EVT The fixed frequency has been requested by several other users and is why it is like that. At some point we will implement options in your logbook settings to have this as a toggle to have the freq persist or not.

I completely understand. I was in pota this afternoon, and this feature is really handy when youāre on duty. The idea of a button to block the frequency is a good one. If it could be implemented, everyone would be happy.
Have a nice day Brad, 73.

What do you all use the TAG column for? Thanks 73
It shows your park-to-park contacts for a POTA activation with a double tree icon.
Gotcha, I need to activate a park soon, just been hunting Thanks
Ive stated the same thing many times. I could care less about the always accurate signal reports that I never take any time to update , even if they are a 5/5 I donāt take the time do put 5/5 in a pile up, but I need the time.
Thanks Earnest - we will get this added! We have a backlog right now because of the database upgrade but weāre working as hard as I can and we are SO CLOSE!!
Iām surprised it doesnāt show a single park / tree icon when Iām huntingāIām dying to see park #s in the log sidebar! @N0WRL could we get that on the post DB push list? ![]()
100% @W9TEF youāve got it!! I think we can make this all one āmini featureā just expanding the options for the columns on the log list
Thanks so much!!
I would love to be able to have the ability to configure the columns too. I do not understand why on the phone app I am able to see the time stamp column when the QSO was entered but I am NOT able to see it on the web. When I edit my POTA videos I use the time stamp on the phone app and today I decided to to use the web and I noticed the timestamp column is not there. Am I missing something or it is not available on the web and only on the app? Thanks. ![]()
@KQ3Q We will be adding the ability to customize the columns per logbook very soon. its on our list of feature requests that we will be working through over the next month or so.
I hope this helps, somewhat ![]()
