I just passed my extra and am getting a new call sign. I understand my old call sign log can’t transfer over. Any suggestions from anyone that also had a new call sign? QRZ doesn’t merge them either.
I have a similar question…that is unfortunate if they don’t merge. I wonder if someone from WRL could clarify here. Congrats on your Extra!
Thanks Jim. From research I have done it looks like I am essentially reborn. QRZ doesn’t merge logs but keeps your old call sign and log available. You get a brand new page with new call sign and log. They do export your pics bio etc. but log belongs to old call sign. They suggest putting something in bio letting others know you were previously WX1ABC. Curious what WRL does. Sad I have to create a new log! Worked hard for those QSOs
