Log filing system

How do WRL users file their logs. Meaning all of your SOTA, POTA, Lighthouse. Etc. logs are currently listed in date order. After a while, you have a lot of lot individual logs out there so what do people do to file them in some logical order? Build folders like the SOTA folder, POTA folder etc. and store them on their computer. I’m interested in learning how and if people use a filing system to make their logs easily accessible.

@K2KJD Not sure tbh. We do have plans to allow users to create folders and favorite certain logbooks to pin them to the top

Thanks for your reply Brad. I didn’t necessarily think this was a WRL issue I was just curious how people were dealing with the problem I have. For instance I wanna go back to my Pensacola lighthouse log because somebody from that log wants a QSL. Where is it? I know it’s in this long string of individual logs, but if I could search for it or if I created a folder outside of WRL for SOTA logs, POTA logs, Lighthouse logs and so on maybe that would reduce the number of logs to sort through. You must have hundred of logs in date order in your logbook …how do you find a particular one.
If you come up with any cool idea let me know. And I hope you know how much I appreciate your responding to my often goofy questions
Thanks, Chip K2KJD

@K2KJD haha no worries at all! no goofy questions, everyone has their preferences and ways they like to recall information or log information, I completely understand!

So I think one thing you might be able to do is use the QSO manager and filter by logbook, then search for a specific callsign inside that logbook via the search bar. That might help.

Good suggestion. That might work.
Thanks, Chip
