I know you’re probably tired of hearing me (us) ask about this, but is there any possibility that WRL could create a hierarchical folder system for organizing our logs and not just the ability to flag our favorites?
I know I can star my favorite logs to keep them visible, but once I remove the star, I have to scroll through everything again to find them. I’m the type of person who does not like clutter on my desk—or in my logbook—so I would love to be able to organize logs into folders and subfolders.
For example, when I activate a park, I would create a new log for that activation and then place it inside a master folder called “2026 POTA Activations.” Within that folder, I could have a separate subfolder for each park and store all of my activation logs for that park together.
This morning, I did exactly what you all recommend that we not do. I merged my latest POTA activation log into my master “2026 POTA” log and then deleted the newly emptied activation log. Except…I accidentally deleted my master log instead. My mistake!
Thankfully, I was able to recover the contacts by downloading them again from the POTA website, but a folder system would make organizing logs much easier and could help prevent mistakes like this. ![]()
