When I open a map, or a page with the globe map, it defaults to Africa. Don’t get me wrong, I have no issue with Africa. I just wish the maps would focus on my location instead.

@KD4RVB Hey Good Morning Jose,
This is because you’ll need to set your operating location and default location inside your logbook. From the web app goto ‘Log Contacts’ then click the ‘gear’ icon in the top right. Then under ‘Saved locations’ either use the current one you have called ‘mobile’ or click the ‘view/add more locations’ and set your QTH. Once that is set ensure that it is selected for the ‘Default location for new logbooks’. You’ll need to set that location for each of your existing logbooks as well if it doesn’t auto set them after you make that change. Then whenever you open a map or a page with a globe view it will show your correct location. I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any trouble.

Hi Brad,
I checked the settings you sent and found I was setup correctly. I tried all three options to set a location but no luck. My location has been working since the spot for my location displays where it should, the maps just bring up Africa and Europe so I have to move it to see my contacts.
It’s really a minor annoyance but it would be nice.

Something that might be completely unrelated, but I thought I would point it out anyways, the globe on the homepage to WRL also defaults to Africa.
Once again, not sure if this correlates at all to what KD4RDV pointed out, but thought I would throw it in if it helps at all since it’s something I’ve also noticed recently.

@W2DIY Actually no that’s a separate issue that we haven’t addressed yet but its def on the radar.
