Mode change on frequency change

Maybe I’ve overlooked a setting, but when I click on a spot it changes the frequency on my IC7300 but not the mode while doing SSB. It remains whatever it was last. I searched to see if this had been asked, but didn’t see anything (maybe wrong search string).

Yes. I know it’s still in beta. Just wondering if I’d overlooked something on my end.
