New to WRL, I have a question of nomenclature... In "create a new logbook", am I creating a new logbook for each POTA outing? Or, do I create a POTA logbook and then add each outing to that logbook?

I am trying to use WRL to log a POTA outing for the first time (and offline after the fact) and am not sure EXACTLY how the logging process works. In the “create a new logbook” section, do I create a new POTA “logbook” for each outing or do I create a new Logbook for POTA and continually add to that logbook with each additional outing?

I find it to be easiest to create a separate log for each POTA activation.

You can label it however it makes the most sense to you:

US-0911 March 8 2026 works for me, but you can certainly use a different process if you like.

If you were to use just ONE log then it will get unwieldy after a time and although POTA will probably reject any duplicates it will be harder for you to keep track of the different parks.

Thanks. I appreciate your help and will probably take your advice on the Label procedure. It sounds simple and efficient. 73
