Hi. Am I missing something with the offline database? Searching for a park while not connected just does not work.

Are you using the mobile app or the web app? This will only work with the mobile app.
On the mobile app (while you have internet), goto your profile, then click the gear icon in the top right, then click settings, then click the ‘view offline database’, then click the ‘check & download updated data’ link.

Yes. I am using the mobile app. On iPhone and iPad. When I search the park number it doesn’t do anything. I have the updated offline database as well.

Very odd, and you have an internet connection when trying to download the offline database? Try and uninstall the app and then re-install it (making sure your installing the latest version). Let me know if that doesn’t make a difference and i’ll reach out to the team and have them dig into it for you
