QRZ integration keeps breaking? [FIXED]

Since the database update, it seems like I have to re-enter my QRZ API key and select the logbook to sync into almost every day.

@N3FAR Hey Chris,

We’ve pushed a fix for this. Make sure you are logged in to your WRL account. Hold shift on your keyboard and click the refresh button in your browser. Then goto the integrations page and unlink everything (qrz call sign lookup, import/export) then re-link it, making sure you’ve selected the WRL logbook you want to import/export from and click the save button. Should be good to go now.

Sorry for the trouble

Thanks & 73

The fix has been completed for this - just pending final deployment and should be good to go! It will require a mobile app update once released.

Thanks guys!!

Huzzah! I was having this issue, and it was super frustrating! It’s funny how primitive it feels to not have this feature now! Just goes to show how awesome WRL is!

Hey man, life is too short to complain about temporary software bugs.

Keep rockin’ the awesome platform, man. No logger better than what you all are making!

FYI – The problem still persists for me after the update today. :frowning:

I also just had to re-connect it :-/

@WV1DAD we found an issue with the mobile app that was causing the API key to disappear on the webapp/mobile app when the mobile app was opened. We’ve pushed a fix for the mobile apps (so make sure you update your mobile app asap), then you can go to the web app and do the hard refresh (hold shift + refresh button in browser), go and unlink everything in the QRZ integrations (call sign lookup, API Key) then reconnect it all, making sure to select the WRL logbook from the drop down and then click the save button.

All of that might not actually be necessary but its what i’ve been telling ppl to do after updating the mobile app just to cover all the bases. So once the mobile app is updated and then everything has been re-entered on the web app and saved. It should stay and persist.

If for some odd reason it doesn’t work for you still, im just gonna blow your logging streak away so you have to start over hahahahahahah im joking!!!

Let me know how it goes.

I’ve only been using the web app, not the mobile one. I have the mobile one installed but it’s been … weeks? since I opened it

@N3FAR Yeah. So there was technically two issues. One where it wasn’t persisting at all due to the database upgrade but then there was a function in the mobile app that was running when the mobile app was open that was blanking it out at the account level. So we fixed the persistence issue but it was still happening for some users and we couldn’t figure out why, then we found the issue with mobile. sigh fun times  should be sorted now.

@K4AZE Still no joy Brad, did all steps recommended, not sure. Also right now I logged out and back in and am having logging issues on web. so using ipad WRL app to log right now. HA on that streak comment!! Hope weekend is good and be safe Jeff

@WV1DAD Something might be up with your account since that fix has worked for most everyone else. let me reach out to the team. Also, your saying your having trouble logging in? or logging in general?

@K4AZE Yeah, not sure, somewhat IT savy so I thought it did it all right but I will delete WRL app and reinstall etc all and see if that resolves issue. I can log in no issues, when I was logging contacts earlier, it was not auto resolving callsign with names etc when typing them in, also the few couple POTAs I got today it did not autofill freq and POTA park. Seemed like some lagging. Again not sure but let me mess with it later when I try and get a few afternoon QSO’s after my WVU football finishes getting killed. Enjoy weekend ! Be blessed
