Good morning from VK. I don’t seem to be having much luck integrating with WRL. Firstly, I will explain my setup. Mainly using the FT8/4 modes (WSJT-X) and logging with LOG4OM2. I have Grid Tracker 2 linked with both QRZ (Subscriber) and HRDLog so that both are automatically updated. This is how I would like WRL to work for me.
I have linked WRL with QRZ Integration and it shows connected. QRZ Callsign Lookup shows that it is linked with my callsign. Import QSO’s from QRZ.com shows that it is linked with my appropriate logbook. Export QSO’s to QRZ.com shows that it is linked with the appropriate logbook and I have tried turning Auto Export on and off.
The error i get is up in the top right corner saying QRZ Import Failed. I do have a subscription with QRZ and I have applied the API code where needed.
@VK4VCC It sounds like the error you are getting is on the QRZ import. I would try going into the ‘integrations’ page and then into the import settings and make sure it is linked to a valid WRL Logbook. If that is already the case, may try unlinking it and then re-linking the QRZ import and triggering the import. The import is a manual process vs the export which can be enabled to be done automatically.
Good morning Brad, thanks for the reply. I checked to make sure it was linked to a valid WRL Logbook and I also tried unlinking and re-linking the QRZ import. Unfortunately, with no luck. The QRZ API key is also being used by Grid Tracker 2 so I am not sure if this may be causing the problem? I am unaware if the QRZ API key can be shared among many programs.
Everything looks good up until I try to import - see screenshots below;
Please disregard. It is now working. Trouble is I am not sure how I fixed it. I deleted the integration altogether and started again. Making sure that my QRZ login and password details were correct (callsign rather than email address - this may have been the problem even though it did show as connected). I copied the API key, made sure I was copying to the correct WRL Logbook and now it looks like it is working fine.
@VK4VCC Fantastic!!! Your not taking up my time at all thats what we’re here for!!! Happy to help! Glad you got it sorted! Let me know if you need a hand with anything else or have any other questions!
