Hello! First time ever doing a contest and I am receiving this error when I try to submit my logs. Does anyone know how to fix this?
**ERROR–>**Following QSO errors were found:
Sent qth (W6SR) for 62 of 62 QSOs doesn’t match qth associated with location (KY) selected on this web form.
QSO lines format error based on first QSO: qth
I made sure that my grid square info is correct and is entered properly. I tried looking through groups.io posts as well as googling questions about this but I can’t seem to find any info. I know it is only a few qso’s but I’d still like to find a way to submit them if anyone has an answer.
I solved my issue, I did not have KY in the “my exchange field”. I first changed it to 59 KY and i received a different error telling me 59 was invalid. so after changing it to KY only my log successfully uploaded. I hope this helps some others here figure it out.
@KQ4Y@KN6TPT@W7YBY@KZ4ML@KR4EJY@KR4CWB You have to make sure you have your exchange added to the ‘My Exchange’ field under the ‘log contact’ button inside your contest logbook.
This field will be there for every contest and will need to be added before exporting your Cabrillo
It’s just that serious contesters (and I’m usually not one) would want to stick with N1MM or N3FJP, and the other contest programs, for the additional features they include, such as call histories, sending and receiving CW, voice keyers, and similar features.
I tried to use WRL for the contest, but it lasted only 5 QSOs before I went back to N1MM. 1880 QSOs and 600,000 points, approximately. I hope to see you all at the RAC contest this week. The Croatian DX contest is the same weekend as well.
Also, the biggest thing I like with N1MM (N3FJP does this as well), is the broadcasting of data to the Online Contest Scoreboard to see how you are doing against most of the others in the contest, the showing of multipliers required, integration with DX Clusters that are colour coded to see where you need multipliers and the fact that your actual score is tracked. WRL didn’t track your real score with the ARRL 10m contest.
