Good afternoon. I am about 70% through my self-study journey before taking my technician exam. The other day, a module I was studying discussed satellite tracking apps.
What apps do you find most reliable? Are there better websites or computer-based programs? I hope to work with satellites soon and want to start getting in the habit of knowing what is overheard at certain times. Thank you for your time.

I am a Linux user and have been using gpredict for years. Very customisable too.
Make sure you have your location set on these for accurate sat passes. Also ISS is doing a special SSTV event from Dec 25 - Jan 7th
I agree with gpredict. Mostly because it works with Linux as well as Windows and does its own doppler correction and antenna tracking. I no longer download the entire database, I create my own list of sats I wish to track and update that instead. Also create my own sat database for these sats with frequencies and modes. Love this app.
