The shack console looks great and seems to work really well. The one thing that It feels like it is missing is the ability to log contacts on one of the side panels or even replace/move the map so that the option is in the center of the screen. It appears that WRL is more focused on contesting and POTA, but from a new ham perspective it’s a way more appealing site to use than QRZ or any other logbooks because it frankly looks like it’s from this millennium. If we could log information within the dashboard to avoid needing two or even three screens open when keying up at the shack that’d be a huge win (WSJT-X, LogBook, WRL Dashboard). Honestly without that feature being implemented this doesn’t feel like it’s any better or more capable than other recently published dashboards that are available.
@KQ5LVA We have several upgrades coming to the dashboard in the future. Our priorities are on finishing WRTC, Field Day, and a few other things then we’ll be back to adding new features. I can certainly add a feature request to have a logbook widget added to the dashboard. I’m not sure if we can do a WSJTX integration without the cat control app & integrations app and have it directly in the web app but i’m happy to mention it to the team. The dashboard will eventually be added into the desktop app as well, at which point we would be able to though.
