My June of 2011 Yaesu FT-950 is nowhere near as old, but it’s still trucking along as well. Lots of proof out there that you don’t need the latest and greatest to have a good time on the air.

(not that I would turn down a FlexRadio Aurora if someone gave it to me) :sweat_smile:

It’s at this point that I regret ever giving my dad’s radios away.

I will be upgrading to a yaesu ft-dx3000 in the next 3 monts but i will still keep using the ic 730

My wife says the same thing about me.

I will be rocking my G90 until the paint is all worn off. Newer stuff is so rarely better that it’s worth avoiding on purpose! Way to keep that 730 kicking–you obviously take good care of your equipment.
